Server Co-location

Co-location space is available in our POP in Spearfish.
You can put your server on our co-location ethernet, for lower cost and maintenance web/file servers. Most web servers fall within the first traffic level (50GB/Month), but greater requirements can also be handled as listed below:

Comes with:

• 10BaseT ethernet connection.
• Power (up to 10A 120VAC).
• Up to 14 IP addresses.
• Secondary DNS for up to 14 domains.
• 4U (7") 19" rack space for one computer/UPS combo.

Data transfer is generally sampled at a router, but an Altaire
approved SNMP client may be required on your server(s).

Available added cost items:

• Primary DNS - $10/year per domain.
• UPS Power (10A 120VAC) - $20/month.
• Additional IP addresses - $10/month per 14 IP addresses.
• Additional Power (+10A 120VAC) - $50/month.
• Other items on a case by case basis.

All equipment insurance is the responsibility of the owner. Altaire will not be responsible for damages in the event of fire, flood, lightning, or other accidental circumstances.

Free access to the POP during normal business hours (9am-5pm, Mon-Fri).

There is a charge of $100/hour for after hours access to the POP.
